After reading the account agreement (hereafter known as “Agreement”), you must be prepared to agree to all of the rules stated in it and also the terms and conditions and rules as posted on our www.crownscup.com web site.A failure on your part to agree with these rules will mean that you will not able to open a real money account, while failure to follow them shall result in player dismissal and disqualification. Should disputes arise between players and CrownsCup, among players, or with regard to any discrepancies in rules, the judgment of CrownsCup management (NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd.) is final and binding.CrownsCup can not be held responsible for any claims for losses or damages under any circumstances.
CrownsCup reserves the right to change this real money account Agreement and the terms and conditions at any time. CrownsCup is operated by the company NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. which is a registered Ltd. in Malta, with its seat at Office 5 A de Tigne Complex, 21 Tigne Seafront, Sliema, SLM 15, Malta registered at the Court of Justice, Malta under C 38644. NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. is a marketing partner of TMG Ltd., which possesses a gaming license issued by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta.
You are entitled to receive automatic software updates as required to continue to use the software. These updates are protected by this Agreement. The software must not to be used in multi-user, network, or multiple computer environments, or in a rental, time-sharing or computer service business.
The server software runs from a remote server operated by the MelitaGamingNetwork, located in Malta. You can only access the server by running the CrownsCup client software, which is only made available to you under this Agreement. It is your sole responsibility to verify legislation which applies in the location where the client software is used in order to determine restrictions and act in accordance with those restrictions.
All details provided by you during the account registration process must be true and correct and prompt notification will be received from you in the event of changes to these details. You must identify yourself to the software using your own email address and a password that is known only to you. The server encrypts the password upon account creation and it is not known or retrievable by any person other than you (a password reset process is available).
NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. shall not be held liable in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, or in any way connected with, the use of the software or service whether direct or indirect, including, without limitation, damage for loss of business, loss of profits, business interruptions, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary or consequential loss (even where the company had been notified by you of the possibility of such loss or damage). NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. shall not be held liable in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from or in any way connected with the use of any link contained on the site and is not responsible for the content of any linked sites.
NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. makes no warranty that the software will be continuously in operation, that the software will be secure or error-free, or that it is free of viruses or bugs. Equally, no warranty is made that the software represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the materials involved, or as regarding results or accuracy of any information obtained through the service by the user.
You may terminate the Agreement at any time by deleting all copies of the software. NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. reserves the right to terminate the Agreement should you fail to comply with its terms and conditions. If NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. does terminate the Agreement, you must delete all copies of the software in your possession.
Should any provision of this Agreement be, or become, void, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. The parties are obliged to fill the gap by an Agreement which will have the effect most similar to the clause which is void. Should there be a gap in this contract, the parties are obliged to fill it in a way in which sincere parties would fill it in with respect to aims of this Agreement. NuZAP-Net. TV Ltd. is entitled to amend or modify any of the terms herein or referred to herein at any time without notice at its sole discretion.
As CrownsCup is an online poker and backgammon room, it receives compensation by taking a “rake”, which is a small amount of money from each poker pot or backgammon game. Please see our Poker Rake page and Backgammon Rake page for exact information.
CrownsCup issues real money chips based on the Euro amount, put on deposit in your real money player's account. You accept and authorize TMG Ltd. to handle your real money account.
CrownsCup players' money and account balances are held in segregated accounts which are not used for any of CrownsCup' operational expenses. These segregated accounts are managed by the Bank of Valletta. These arrangements have been put in place to ensure that CrownsCup can at all times fulfil its monetary obligations toward its online poker and backgammon players, and provides assurance that players' funds are always secure.
You represent and warrant that you have attained legal majority in the location from where you are connecting, and - in all cases - that you are over 18 years of age (or such other minimum legal age applying in the location from where you are connecting). Residents of Malta and territory belonging to the United States of America are not eligible to play at CrownsCup for real money.
In correspondence with regulation 36 of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta, any player account where no transactions have been recorded for 30 months will be closed. Remaining funds will be disbursed to the player. If the player cannot be satisfactorily located, the remaining funds will be credited to the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, Malta.
All taxes, duties and fees applicable in connection with any winnings are the sole responsibility of the player. Participation in the game is voluntary and at the player's sole discretion and risk.
Real Money Deposit
You agree to be bound by all purchases or credits made on your behalf by CrownsCup in as much as you authorized them. Charges will be brought against any user or other who manipulates, or attempts to manipulate the CrownsCup server or client software, or who attempts to commit credit card fraud. Credit card transactions (MasterCard or VISA) are processed through Gateway. There are no fees for using Mastercards or VISA cards at CrownsCup.

Cashouts
Cashouts are requested via the Cashier screen. Your account will be debited and we will confirm your cashout via email. Cashouts are first processed back to the method(s) used to deposit, in the same amounts as your original purchases. Within each deposit method, cashouts are applied back to your oldest deposit first and your most recent deposit last. Because of changes in MasterCard's / VISA`s policy, we are unable to credit cashouts back to a MasterCard or VISA card. A cashout equal to or less than purchase amounts will be credited back at no charge. A cashout greater than the deposit amount will have the “profit” amount mailed to you by check at no charge. CrownsCup restricts the frequency of “profit” cashouts to two per customer per 30-day period, and a minimum check amount of Euro 100 and a minimum of Euro 50 for bank wires apply. A cashout can be made 10 days after the last deposit.
In correspondence with regulation 36 of the Remote Gaming Regulations stated by the Maltese Lotteries & Gaming Authority, withdrawals of €2000 and above must be legitimized with a copy of an ID card, passport, or driver's license. Any of these documents may be sent to the Company by fax or by e-mail in digital form.
CrownsCup reserves the right to withhold payment of any funds if suspicion or evidence of manipulation with CrownsCup software arises, or evidence of credit card fraud arises.
Game Rules
Poker and backgammon are played according to the international backgammon rules. Please see the poker rules section and backgammon rules section of our website for detailed descriptions.
You are forbidden to use computer programs to gain an advantage. Snowie (the world leader in backgammon software, based on artificial intelligence) analyzes every backgammon game played on our server and the detailed results are tested by a number of sophisticated algorithms. Any advantage a player could theoretically obtain by using Snowie or a similar program for playing decisions would thus be detected. Misuse of these programs will result in an immediate ban from our server.
Timeout Feature (Backgammon)
Two clocks are displayed when you play the game. The left-hand clock shows the amount of time you have per move. Once this has expired, the clock on the right starts to run, showing you the extra time that you have per game. When all you extra time is used up, Snowie settles the position. If you had no free disconnect left, then you will be charged a five percent penalty in the settlement. You lose your free disconnect in the process of the settlement.
Exception for Sit and Go's and Tournaments (Backgammon)
There is no Snowie settlement for Sit & Go's and Tournaments. When you run out of time, your game is forfeited and you lose the match. Note that you are responsible for a good-quality Internet connection, since none of the clocks will stop if you go offline.
